Gabby Sanchez

Apprentice

As a digital apprentice at Identity, Gabby works on a wide variety of client initiatives and is eager to hone her experience in all facets of Identity’s social and digital media practice area. This includes monitoring data analytics, helping to promote marketing strategies, and providing support to clients and the digital team at large.

Born and raised in Port Huron Michigan, Gabby fell in love with the field of advertising and public relations as it allowed her to play to her strengths as a strong communicator and creative writer. Her passions were encouraged by her professors at Michigan State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree with High Honors in Advertising Management, Public Relations, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

During her time at MSU she was also named to the Dean’s List, awarded the William J Hopp Endowed Scholarship in Advertising, the Cleary-Weiler Internship Award, and placed third in the Burgess Institute’s 2 Day Venture. Prior to attending Michigan State University, Gabby also obtained two different Associate Degrees in General Education and Arts from St. Clair County Community College’s Blue Water Middle College Program.

Gabby has gained professional experience through previous internships at St. Clair County Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Americorps Vista Heroes Campaign, MediaCom, and Michigan Clean Cities, where she had such wide-ranging responsibilities as creating content, designing graphics, and managing social media pages. Gabby also wrote for Erie Square Gazette Newspaper and Her Campus, and has been featured in Michigan State University’s Department of Advertising and Public Relations, St. Clair County Community College’s Alumni Spotlight, and MSU Today’s Graduate Voice.

In Gabby’s free time, she enjoys watching, playing, and coaching tennis, particularly for children and those with learning disabilities. She also enjoys being an active member in her church community, riding her jet ski in the summertime, and spending time with her friends, family, and loved ones.
