As an apprentice at Identity, Elizabeth Hamilton works on a diverse array of client initiatives; gaining experience in all areas of Identity’s media relations and social media practices such as research, copywriting, content creation, reporting and more
Elizabeth graduated from Central Michigan University with a dual major in Applied Arts in Integrative Public Relations and Advertising, while serving as an advertising account manager at CMU’s student-run newspaper, Central Michigan Life. Through this position she gained valuable experience in content creation, sales pitching, and training and leading a small team of account executives.
During her time at CMU, Elizabeth also served on the executive board for PRSSA and PR Central, a registered student organization at CMU. As the Director of Internal Communications, she wrote press releases for upcoming events, created the monthly newsletter, and produced the chapter’s podcast.
In 2022, Elizabeth interned at the award-winning Chateau Chantal Winery and Inn, where she was responsible for the winery’s external communication on social media and monitored social media analytics. She helped improve the efficiency of the culinary and wine events through precise planning and brainstorming.
When Elizabeth isn’t at work, you will most likely see her doodling in a notebook, dancing to no music or making her peers laugh hysterically.
