As an Assistant Account Executive at Identity, Emilie works on a diverse array of client initiatives, allowing her to gain experience in all areas of Identity’s media relations and social media practices including research, copywriting, content creation, reporting and more.
Emilie is a recent alumna of Michigan State University where she majored in journalism with a concentration in media relations. She gained experience as a published journalist for the Knight Center for Environmental Journalism where she pitched story topics, interviewed industry-leading professionals and wrote stories based on environmental topics in the Great Lakes region. Emilie has also previously held a media relations internship where her tasks included assisting with pitch writing, scanning for media coverage, influencer outreach and building media lists. Following graduation, she also worked at a marketing agency where she gained experience writing co-marketing pieces and copywriting.
In her free time, Emilie loves staying active, whether it be playing in a women’s hockey league, attending cycling classes, or going on walks with her friends and family. She also loves to read and spend time on the water doing various water sports.
