Susie Pentelow

Susie has spent more than ten years designing, developing and delivering high-level strategic communication solutions for individuals, nonprofits and businesses. She serves as Counsel to Identity, producing content that allows clients to tell their stories in creative and dynamic ways.

Throughout her career, Susie has held various leadership positions, most recently as executive director of communications and marketing at Albion College. In this role, she acted as a member of the President’s Cabinet, setting the vision and strategic direction for communications, marketing and public relations initiatives that advanced the institution’s goals. As executive director, she was responsible for stewarding the College’s brand, providing crisis communications counsel and acting as the institution’s spokesperson. Prior to this, she led digital communications at the Swearer Center for Public Service at Brown University.

Originally from the U.K., Susie studied art at Goldsmiths, University of London. During this time, she got her start in the industry by developing sales, marketing and public relations strategies for contemporary art galleries.

Susie is a voracious reader and loves to travel, especially when it allows her to reconnect with family abroad. She met her wife while they were both living in Italy. They have since relocated to Pittsburgh, where they share their home with their two cats, Fish and Cleo.
