Lydia Hershauer

Junior Designer

As a junior designere, Lydia works closely in alignment with Identity’s creative team to deliver high-impact designs to clients. She works on a plethora of projects ranging from digital content to branding to print design.

Lydia was previously a graphic designer for a non-profit organization local to her hometown. In this role, she collaborated with various organizations to build and launch a branded website focused on storytelling and community. Additionally, she has worked as a freelancer – this includes crafting logos, assisting with visual identities, illustrating a children’s book, and more.

She is a graduate of Central Michigan University where she earned her BFA in Graphic Design. During her time at CMU, she worked as a student graphic designer and produced design collateral for the university. In 2021, she received a student Gold ADDY Award for her animated advertising campaign. Lydia also holds a professional Google certificate in UX design and is an active member of Design Core Detroit.

Lydia spends a lot of her free time making art, attending artist residencies, and exhibiting her work nationally. This includes showing her pieces at notable locations like Maryland Institute College of Art, the U.S. Capitol Building, Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum, and Corridoio Fiorentino Gallery in Florence, Italy.

When Lydia wants to give her right brain a break, she spends time traveling the globe, cooking, reading, practicing yoga, playing pickleball, and hanging out with her loved ones.
