What Is a Web Presence Without Social Media?

Great pearl of wisdom near the tail end of this video about why incorporating a social media component into your company’s Web presence is so important, courtesy of social media guru Chris Brogan.
Paraphrasing:
“Having a Web presence with no social media component is sort of like offering me a hotel room without a toilet. Not only don’t I give a [crap]…I can’t.”
Think about that when you’re positing your Web strategy. Success on the Web these days is dictated by your ability to engage and communicate with an audience. If they can’t give, they won’t give a you-know-what.
