Paster Enterprises Announces Addition of Jim’s Market to Doddway Center

ST. PAUL, Minn., May 23, 2011 – St. Paul, Minn.-based Paster Enterprises, a leading manager and developer of neighborhood shopping centers in the Twin Cities, announced today that Jim’s Market, a local family owned and operated supermarket chain, is opening a 24,800-square-foot location in Doddway Center, located at the intersection of Smith Avenue South and Dodd Road in St. Paul. Paster Enterprises President Howard Paster made the announcement.

The new Jim’s Market will be the fourth location in the St. Paul area, and will take the place of current anchor tenant, R.C. Dick’s Foods. Jim’s Market will make significant renovations to the property during the coming months, including new flooring, an updated front entrance and upgrades to the deli section, frozen foods department and meat counter. New lower prices will accompany the many improvements. The store will stay open during the construction process, but plans to hold a grand opening celebration later this year.

“The close knit, family oriented atmosphere at Jim’s Market is an ideal fit for the neighborhood-focused center,” said Paster. The renovations planned for the property will be a great improvement for shoppers in the local community.”

Jim’s Market’s acquisition of the R.C. Dick’s Foods at Doddway Center officially closed on Thursday, April 28, 2011.
