…Brandon Chesnutt hails the rise of social media as a new era for marketing.
It is, after all, the centerpiece around which his job revolves. Three years ago, Chesnutt’s role at Bingham Farms-based Identity Marketing and Public Relations shifted to focus exclusively on social media.
“We really saw the writing on the wall that things were changing,” he said, “and decided to build a team specifically around social media.”
He’s since helped clients from local mom-and-pop shops to national retailers capitalize on the latest craze in customer interaction.
“That’s what a lot of the social media world is about, is being able to connect you quicker and faster to a company where you can share, in some cases, dissatisfactions, or positive feedback,” he said. “The brands that seem to embrace the conversational aspects of this medium do produce stronger successes…”
