Today, I read a WSJ article regarding the launch of Wii Fit and how Nintendo is turning to a PR campaign (more so than advertising or marketing) to promote the product.
In the article, Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of sales and marketing, says, "consumers are increasingly turning to friends, family and news articles as credible sources of information about products, more so than in the past."
