Identity Is a Four-Time Finalist for 2023 PRNEWS Platinum Awards

Identity is set to be honored this week at the 2023 PRNEWS Platinum Awards! This year we’re a four-time finalist for compelling campaigns and in-depth initiatives imagined and executed by our team.

PRNEWS Platinum Awards is among our industry’s most competitive and prestigious award programs, and has been for more than two decades. The Platinum Awards highlight agencies and individuals “who have reached the pinnacle of innovation and industry knowledge.” A finalist distinction is certainly an honor.

Our work has been recognized in the following categories for the 2023 awards:

  • Conducting the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s (DSO) Single Ticket Streetcar Concert in the PR Stunt category. 
  • Helping Pentastar Aviation soar to new heights in the category of Rebranding/Repositioning.
  • Creating and hosting a tour bus intro for the Motown Museum’s Motortown Revue Anniversary Installation in the Media Event category.
  • Our Aimbridge Hospitality campaign for Aimbridge Accelerates: A Report for the ALIS Hospitality Conference in the category of Conference Marketing/PR Campaign.

In each of these categories, we’re named as finalists alongside outstanding work from iconic global campaigns and notable brands like Jeep, Green Giant, Pepsi, Stanley, DHL, and more. We’re in good company. 

We take great pride in this work, characterized by our constant quest to think differently and take risks to create unique and customized ideas. With the DSO, reporters witnessed the doors of the Q-Line streetcar open to reveal talented classical musicians playing their instruments—an unexpected and incredible experience. 

An experiential, built-for-media event for Motown Museum greeted national and international members of the press pool with a welcome message on the marquee of the historic Fox Theatre. This throwback to the Motortown Revue itself was a fitting way to share details of the latest museum installation. The official announcement of the Motown Mile installation was made aboard a moving tour bus. The concept drove home how impactful this tour was in the history of Motown sound.

The common theme in each of our nominations is a commitment to big ideas, to the kind of engaging and immersive moments that capture the imagination. These PRNEWS Platinum Award entries are just the latest examples of why Identity has earned a reputation for conceiving and creating moments that make an impact and leave a mark over the course of 25 years.

We’re heading to New York this week to celebrate with our fellow finalists and recognize the winners in each of the 60 PRNEWS Platinum Awards categories. It’s an incredible honor for our big ideas and imaginative storytelling to be recognized in this way. We’re so grateful to our amazing team for making these ideas come alive, and also to the clients and professional partners who continue to trust us to do inspiring work on their behalf.
