2019: A Year of Major Growth, Custom Career Paths for Identity Gamelovers

By: Erin Robinson

2019 was an exciting year for Identity. Our team was behind creating and elevating some of the most impactful moments in the region—from Motown Museum’s 60th Anniversary and the historic sale of Grand Hotel to Bill Pulte’s Blight Authority and representing consumer brands throughout the region, state and Midwest. As an agency, we hired top talent, announced our expansion in Chicago and launched our new website.

But what excites me most in my seat today is the growth of our amazing team. At our first-ever multi-day retreat in Chicago last month, I had the privilege of announcing the gamelovers who are making moves as we enter the final year of the Identity 2020 journey.

As early adopters and ongoing advocates of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), we live by the important philosophy of right people, right seats. What we don’t do is arbitrarily maintain the same “seats” year after year. We pride ourselves on the continuous evolution of our accountability chart, identifying and creating space for team members to elevate individual unique abilities on behalf of our clients and the agency.

So, here we go!

Lindsay Wyskowski—Senior Account Manager, Big Idea Specialist

Lindsay has earned a promotion year-over-year since joining the Identity team in 2016. That is simply incredible. Much like Lindsay.

Lindsay‘s unique ability is generating big, bold campaign concepts and bringing them to life flawlessly. Now we’re putting this talent to good use across our entire portfolio with Lindsay as our big idea specialist, an entirely new role created for her and by her. As a gamelover who always wants more, she’s ready to take on this new challenge and leverage her talents in a big way.

In addition to leveraging her ability to think big and assist our team with their own creative thought process, Lindsay will also maintain her role as account manager on our media relations and marketing team, working with teams to secure high-level media, crafting compelling content and continuing delivering great work.

Rachel Bonello—Senior Account Executive

Having recently celebrated her 5-year anniversary with Identity, Rachel is an instrumental member of the media relations team with a proven ability to secure prominent media placements time and again.

Most recently, she has identified a niche she can really own—all things commercial real estate, which has been a specialty for the agency since our founding. From handling the grand opening of the first ground-up airport development in more than 30 years to executing national press for the country’s number 1 retail experience as recognized by Chain Store Age, 2019 was a landmark year for Rachel and Identity’s commercial real estate portfolio as a result. You can find her in her office, ear buds in, grinding away at great work.

Alex Macksoud—Senior Digital & Content Specialist

Alex’s journey over the course of his 4 years at Identity has been incredibly special and unique. Having entered the agency as an assistant account executive on the social media team, his passion for and talent in developing impactful longform digital content quickly landed him a new title and new trajectory. Now, 2 years into this role, he is taking on more content strategy and brand messaging responsibilities, playing a major role in client partnerships including Motown Museum, Nationwide Realty Investors and Kraemer Design Group, while working closely with agency leadership to craft Identity agency blog posts, case studies, e-newsletters and more. He’s a killer content specialist and brings a level of fresh creativity to our work and our team.

Kyle Cronin—Senior Assistant Account Executive

Kyle joined Identity as an intern in September 2017. As his internship came to a close, we knew we had to have him on board for the long-term. As a result of living and breathing the Identity Way and stretching himself out of the gate in 2019, he was promoted midyear in July. He has become a local media machine, activation aficionado, industry chameleon and road trip warrior. Kyle has his thumbprint in a diverse cross section of Identity partners, including several consumer brands and B2B companies like Baker Katz, Association for Corporate Growth and Oakland County Bar Foundation.

Alec Hamilton— Senior Assistant Account Executive

Alongside his partner in crime, Kyle, Alec started his career with Identity as an intern on our social media team. His knack for creative thinking and effective content development across a diverse brand portfolio was evident from moment go. In 2019, Alec’s true strengths of relationship building and client management emerged in a big way. He plays a key role on a wide range of Identity digital clients—from Lake Trust Credit Union to InvenTrust Properites.
