The Health Law Partners’ Daniel Brown to Speak at MedTrade Conference

ATLANTA, October 11, 2012 – Daniel B. Brown, managing shareholder of the Atlanta office of Brown, Dresevic, Gustafson, Iwrey, Kalmowitz and Pendleton, The Health Law Partners, LLC, will speak at MedTrade , the largest tradeshow and conference in the U.S. focused exclusively on the home medical equipment market. Founding Partner Jessica Gustafson made the announcement.
Brown’s presentation, entitled “Embracing the Business of Sleep,” will discuss the legalities of business opportunities for providers of sleep testing and suppliers of CPAP and other home medical equipment in the treatment of their patients’ sleep disorders.
Brown has more than 20 years of experience with legalities associated with the structure and operation of the health care business and has become the leading legal expert in medical sleep health care. A frequent speaker and published author on the subject, Brown represents providers of sleep medicine, durable medical equipment suppliers, and independent diagnostic testing centers.
A faculty member at the Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine, Brown is also a member of the Board of Directors of the National Sleep Foundation and is on the National Advisory Board of the Sleep Center Management Institute. Brown earned his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University, and graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Law with his juris doctorate.
