Schostak Brothers & Company Completes Leases for Five New Tenants at Northville Park Place

65,000-square-foot restaurant, retail and mixed-used development continues to attract a diverse mix of growing companies
LIVONIA, Mich., January 26, 2015 – Livonia Mich.-based Schostak Brothers & Company, a fourth-generation commercial real estate company focused on shopping center development, acquisitions, mixed-use, commercial and residential development, announced today that it has completed the leases for five new tenants at Northville Park Place in Northville, Mich. Schostak Brothers & Company Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Warren Strietzel made the announcement.
A joint venture between Schostak Brothers & Company and Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based REI Investment Group, Inc., the 65,000-square-foot mixed-use development, located at the southwest corner of 7 Mile and Haggerty Road, is set to welcome:
- Tom + Chee: A gourmet grilled cheese and tomato soup restaurant that combines classic comfort foods with varied ingredients, healthy alternatives and exciting combinations. It has been featured on such shows as the “Shark Tank”, “Man v Food” and “Amazing Eats.”
- Red Olive: A casual dining restaurant, featuring a variety of nutritional Mediterranean and Greek-inspired dishes.
- Sports Clips: A sports-themed barbershop specializing in haircuts for men and boys.
- Gazelle Sports: A specialty retailer that focuses on running, fitness and soccer, offering footwear and apparel for active and casual use, as well as in-store clinics and running training programs.
Additionally, Seattle-based MOD Pizza, a restaurant concept introduced to the Michigan market by Livonia-based TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants, will open one of its first locations in the state at Northville Park Place. MOD Pizza offers individual artisan-style pizzas that are made on demand using organic fresh-pressed dough and signature sauces.
These tenants will join Granite City Food & Brewery, Rusty Bucket, Sherwin Williams, BurgerFi, Chipotle and Jimmy John’s.

Phase 1 of the development project, the new 100,000-square-foot University of Michigan Northville Health Center, was completed in 2014. Construction of Phase 2 began in June 2014 and includes 22-acres of the project’s total 82-acres of land. The property will be directly connected via bike paths to the future Northville Township Park, and features amenities such as water ponds with floating fountains, an elevated waterfall, walkable paths, a gathering area and outdoor seating throughout.
