Midway Companies Announces Four New Tenants at CITYCENTRE

HOUSTON, April 29, 2009 — Midway Companies, a Houston-based privately owned, fully integrated real estate development and investment firm, announced today that Amegy Bank is now open at the company’s CITYCENTRE project in Houston. Chipotle Mexican Grill, Jamba Juice and LMD Boutique will open at the project in Fall 2009. The announcement was made by Brad Freels, chairman and CEO of Midway Companies.
Amegy Bank, a Texas-based bank with more than 80 locations throughout the state, opened a 2,958-square-foot banking center in April. It is located on the first floor of the CITYCENTRE ONE building.
Chipotle Mexican Grill, a casual-dining eatery that offers a focused menu of burritos, tacos and salads, will open a 2,200-square-foot restaurant.
Jamba Juice, specializing in healthy on-the-good foods and blended fruits, will open a 1,200-square-foot location.
LMD Boutique, a fashion-forward women’s clothing store, will open in Fall 2009. The 1,756-square-foot boutique will offer upscale clothing and accessories with an international flair.
CITYCENTRE is a $500 million development and covers 1.8 million square feet. The new center reflects the next generation of mixed-use development and will be a distinct blend of elegant retail shops, fine dining, state-of-the art offices, distinct metropolitan homes and world-class hospitality, all in one 37-acre pedestrian-oriented environment.
