HOUSTON, April 16, 2009 — Midway Companies, a Houston-based privately owned, fully integrated real estate development and investment firm, announced today that Amegy Bank, McGriff, Seibels & Williams and Streettalk Advisors will open at the company’s CITYCENTRE project in Houston in the month of April. The announcement was made Brad Freels, chairman and CEO of Midway Companies.
The 4,000-square-foot Amegy Bank office is located in the CITYCENTRE ONE building. Also located in CITYCENTRE ONE, Streettalk Advisors, a financial planning firm with a radio show discussing financial news, occupies a 4,000-square-foot office.
McGriff, Seibels & Williams, Inc., a progressive insurance brokerage firm with offices in 10 major cities throughout the U.S., will occupy three floors in its 75,000-square-foot office. The firm will be the first tenant to open in the CITYCENTRE TWO building.
CITYCENTRE is a $500 million development and covers 1.8 million square feet. The new center reflects the next generation of mixed-use development and will be a distinct blend of elegant retail shops, fine dining, state-of-the art offices, distinct metropolitan homes and world-class hospitality, all in one 37-acre pedestrian-oriented environment.
