Collaborative, shared space caters to creative and professional community in New Center Area and neighboring Midtown
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 29, 2013 — Southfield-based Farbman Group, a leading full-service real estate company, announced today the completion of renovations of the New Center One building atrium, located in the New Center Area in Detroit steps from Midtown. Andrew V. Farbman, CEO of Farbman Group, made the announcement.
As part of the renovations, Farbman Group updated the atrium’s seating and created an open space with free WiFi for work and collaboration, while adding an outdoor picnic area.
“Farbman Group is committed to delivering value to our tenants and the Detroit community; we invested in this project to further encourage entrepreneurs and small businesses to locate in this vibrant building near restaurants, shopping and great amenities,” said Farbman. “We are always looking for ways to keep up with the emerging work style preferences of younger generations and contribute to the overall growing excitement in this area of Detroit.”
The New Center One Building, the modern neighbor of the historic Fisher Building, houses numerous shops, galleries, services and restaurants that cater to New Center Area and Midtown professionals, as well as the city’s growing creative community. Inside New Center One, beautiful terrazzo covers the first two floors, ornate structures hang from the ceiling, and skylights supply an abundant source of natural light.
