Eric D. Cook Named Shareholder at Wilford & Geske

WOODBURY, Minn., April 7, 2011 – Eric D. Cook has been named a shareholder at Woodbury, Minn.-based Wilford & Geske. Managing Partner Larry Wilford made the announcement. The law firm’s name is now Wilford, Geske & Cook, P.A.
Having joined Wilford & Geske when the law firm was established in 2003, Mr. Cook’s areas of concentration include commercial and business litigation, banking, bankruptcy, creditors’ remedies, foreclosure, construction and real estate law.
“Eric is a highly talented and accomplished lawyer,” said Wilford. “His litigation experience, combined with our foreclosure and bankruptcy skillsets, round out our leadership team and position us well for the continued expansion of our client services as well as our overall firm growth.”
Eric is a 1988 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and a 1991 Cum Laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School. A frequent speaker, he is a member of both the Minnesota State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is also a Past Chair of the Debtor/Creditor Section of the Hennepin County Bar Association and a volunteer attorney with the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyers Network.
