Corrigan Moving Systems Announces Groundbreaking of New Chicago Facility

Construction of the 48,000-square-foot facility has started.

CHICAGO, November 18, 2013— Corrigan Moving Systems, a Chicago relocation company dedicated to elevating the moving experience for families and businesses, announced today the groundbreaking of its new 48,000-square-foot warehouse and office facility located at 4800 Gary Ave. in Hanover Park. Corrigan President David P. Corrigan made the announcement.

Currently located in Lombard, Ill., Corrigan’s new Hanover Park facility will be constructed by Itasca Construction Associates. With easy access to all the major highways in the Chicago area, the custom-designed facility will be built using high-end materials and will feature a 40,500-square-foot warehouse complete with an on-site scale and parking for 30 trailers and 10 straight trucks, as well as an additional 7,500 square feet of office space. In addition to serving the residential needs of the greater Chicago area, the branch will focus on Integrated Office Solutions (IOS), which is a single-sourcing mechanism for commercial moves that allows Corrigan to coordinate with vendors and supervise every aspect of a major relocation from the purchasing of new furniture to setting up data servers.

Completion of the new facility is slated for summer of 2014.
