SOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 19, 2009 – Meadowbrook Insurance Group, Inc. (NYSE: MIG), a Southfield, Michigan-based specialty property and casualty insurance holding company, announced that Brent Eastman has been promoted to creative director. Archie McIntyre, Meadowbrook’s senior vice president of business development, made the announcement.
Mr. Eastman has been with Meadowbrook’s corporate communications department for the past two years, overseeing corporate marketing, messaging, online and design services. In his new role as Creative Director, Brent’s responsibilities will also include the management of all Meadowbrook websites and leading overall brand strategy. Working alongside all business units of the company, Mr. Eastman will also be responsible for implementing brand guidelines, directing the design process and reviewing all creative materials for their alignment with the overarching company brand.
“This promotion is a natural progression for Brent,” stated McIntyre. “He has been crucial to our creative success here at Meadowbrook, and we are excited to watch him excel as he takes on more creative responsibility in business development.”
A graduate of Marygrove College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Mr. Eastman currently resides in Beverly Hills, MI with his wife.
