SOUTHFIELD, Mich. June 7, 2010—BAS Technologies and American Labor Solutions, two customized, staffing solutions firms previously based in Novi, Mich., have merged to form Impact Management Services (Impact), to better demonstrate the enduring and positive effect that the company’s unique approach to human resource initiatives has on a client’s business. Impact President and CEO Pete Davis made the announcement.
“It was time for us to move away from the BAS Technologies and American Labor Solutions names and better explain our unique approach to employment needs,” said Davis, who with his creative team coined the name Impact. “We’ve learned through our own internal efforts the ideal results that can be achieved through building a team with a culture of continuous personal and professional growth. Our core services remain but we feel strongly in sharing the secrets of our own success with our clients. As Michigan companies emerge from the downturn, this is a great opportunity to not only identify the right skill set and experience for the position, but also the right person and personality for the company.”
Following a tremendous amount of internal growth over the past year, the newly formed Impact has relocated to a larger space to fit its ever-evolving needs. By negotiating with clients, diversifying its client base to reach those who had never before used staffing and offering a number of new services, including education and training for staff development, Impact has tripled in size in the past two years. The company is now located at 29792 Telegraph Road in Southfield, Mich.
“After utilizing a number of Impact’s staffing consulting services, the quality and culture of our staff has improved tremendously,” said Todd Keller, director of Human Resources at Aco Hardware, a client of Impact’s since 2008. “Impact has the unique capability of finding the right person for the right job, which has positively influenced our company.”
Kyle Smith, general manager of the Michigan Territory for Iron Mountain and longtime client of Impact, attests to the effect Impact has had on his company. “Our relationship with Impact aligns with the core values we maintain at Iron Mountain. By partnering with Impact, we have been able to establish a “SAVE” dynamic, one that fulfills our staffing needs based on Impact’s unique approach, which offers us the value of its experience and expertise in identifying great additions to our team.”
