Applebee’s Honors Military on Memorial Day with 30 Percent Discount

Discount is a part of an ongoing commitment to support the armed forces and their families

 LIVONIA, Mich., May 21, 2014—As part of the 65 Michigan-based Applebee’s ongoing dedication to the U.S. armed forces, all active military and veterans are invited to enjoy a 30 percent discount on their meal this Memorial Day as part of their ongoing Military Mondays program. Jasmine Neveles, marketing manger for Applebee’s, made the announcement.

In what has become a neighborhood tradition, Applebee’s restaurants routinely delight military members with their national Thank You Movement, which includes weekly discounts, free meals on Veteran’s Day and additional local sponsorships and partnerships that support military initiatives.

With proof of Military I.D., active military and veterans can receive a free promotional card that will guarantee a 30 percent discount off any regularly priced menu item every Monday. Guests can get this special card at their local Applebee’s or email [email protected].

“We thank and honor our military members not just on Memorial Day, but throughout the year as well,” said Neveles. “It is important for us to support our military in anyway possible, and it is a pleasure to provide a small token of appreciation to these deserving men and women who dedicate their lives to defending American values and our freedom.”

Additionally, Applebee’s recently partnered with Operation Military Kids to donate gift cards to 50 military families. This donation was to celebrate and honor military children and their families for the daily sacrifices they make as a result of a parent’s military service.
