Director of Yield Management Joins Wilbanks Energy Logistics

ARTESIA, N.M., May 20, 2014 – Artesia, N.M.-based Wilbanks Energy Logistics, an energy logistics company offering a broad range of services to the exploration and production industry, announced today the hiring of Jason Schmidt as director of yield management. Wilbanks Energy Logistics CEO Michael Wysocki made the announcement.

As director of yield management, Schmidt is responsible for overseeing pricing, forecasting and financial analysis of the company’s Permian Basin operations.

“Jason joins the Wilbanks family from a strong strategic finance background,” said Wysocki. “His expertise and analytical capabilities will lead to the integration of WELlogic, our proprietary algorithmic logistic software, into not only the company’s financial performance, but also our customer’s AFE process. Prior to joining the Wilbanks team in March 2014, he was a senior vice president for FINNEA Group, a middle market investment banking firm. Schmidt’s background is in financial analysis, business development and strategic planning services, as well as expertise in investment analysis and financial modeling. Before his time with FINNEA Group, he was a member of the Oakland University Business Incubator, where he spent two years providing sell-side services for incubator clients and buy-side services for in-house individual investors and equity funds across multiple industries, including information technology, alternative energy, advanced manufacturing, defense and health care.

Schmidt earned his bachelor’s degree in business management and Master of Business Administration from Oakland University in Rochester, Mich.
