  • BIRMINGHAM, Mich., March 7, 2011 – The Uptown Film Festival (UFF), a celebration of Michigan-made movies and the productions created by Michigan filmmakers, announced today that Producer Warren Zide will attend the festival to introduce the premiere of his latest film Demoted on Saturday, March 12, 2011 in Birmingham, Mich. UFF Co-Executive Director Jeffrey Spilman made the announcement.

    Demoted will premiere as part of the festival’s VIP package at 5:00 p.m. at the Palladium 12 Theatre, located at 250 North Old Woodward Ave. in Birmingham. Individual tickets are also available. Individuals interested in attending the premiere with Zide can purchase the VIP Package or tickets online at www.uptownfilmfestival.com. The film focuses on a pair of prank-playing tire salesman, played by David Astin and Michael Vartan, who find themselves placed in secretarial jobs by their put-upon boss, played by David Cross.
