Identity Strengthens Leadership Team, Names 3 VPs

BINGHAM FARMS, Mich., July 29, 2010 — Bingham Farms, Mich.-based Identity, a fully integrated public relations agency leveraging creativity, talent, relationships and technology to drive strategic communications programs that leave a mark, announced today the appointment of Andrea Bogos Trapani as senior vice president, and Meghan Edwards and Stacy Butts as vice presidents. Firm partners Mark Winter, Paul Kesman and Tom Nixon made the announcement.
A reflection of the firm’s evolution, Trapani, Edwards and Butts will strengthen Identity’s existing leadership team. The new vice presidents will be actively involved in the strategic planning of the firm and serve as mentors to the agency’s fully integrated team of marketing, public relations, design and new media experts.
Trapani joined the firm in 2004 and has worked with clients in a wide variety of industries, including financial services, professional services, technology as well as many consumer-focused businesses. Trapani earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Western Michigan University. She worked for The Detroit News, The Oakland Press and the Kalamazoo Gazette before joining Identity.
Since joining Identity in 2006, Edwards has worked with clients in a wide variety of industries, including entertainment, financial, professional services, technology and real estate-related companies. Edwards earned a Master of Arts degree from the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Southern California in 2001. She also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2000 from Michigan State University in international studies.
Butts joined the Identity team in 2007. Since then, her practice area has been focused on driving the strategic communications programs for clients in the commercial real estate, professional services, and other business-to-business arenas, particularly retail. Butts earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Malone College in Canton, Ohio.
