Lets make room for the Good News

Lay offs.  Plant closings. Foreclosures.  Falling property values.  Poor earnings.   Story after story…day after day.

There is a saying that has been around the news business for as long as I can remember:  If it bleeds, it leads.  For anyone who reads the paper or watches the news, you know that there is a lot of truth to that statement.

So with all of this “blood,” will there ever be a place again in the news for the good stories?  The company that gives back?  The rescued dog?  The 100 year old volunteer?  The Eagle Scout hero?

I sure hope so.  We could all use a little more hope.
