Detroit on stage

We’re all getting ready for the spotlight to shine on Detroit as the media converges on our town for the annual auto show. It will definitely be interesting to see how the national media tells the story, both about the auto industry specifically and what is happening in Detroit and Michigan in general.  There is no question there are lots of stories to tell.  Here is an interesting start, http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/the_bonus/01/07/detroit/index.html, a story written by local columnist Mitch Albom and someone who certainly has a national presence.  Let’s see what is to follow.
