Parker Ihrie Joins Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., December 13, 2013 – Parker Ihrie has joined Southfield, Mich.-based Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C. as an associate in the Firm’s Real Estate and Finance Practice Groups. Jaffe CEO Bill Sider made the announcement.
In addition to serving as a summer associate at Jaffe, Mr. Ihrie’s experience includes a judicial internship with Chief Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court Robert P. Young. His responsibilities during this time included analyzing applications for leave to appeal to the Michigan Supreme Court. Mr. Ihrie also served as a Student Assistant Prosecutor for the cities of Eastpointe, St. Clair Shores and Grosse Pointe Farms. In this role he tended, participated and performed plea negotiations for civil infractions and misdemeanors, and also attended and participated in arraignments, pretrial conferences and bench trials.
Mr. Ihrie graduated from College of Charleston, where he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance. He continued his education at Wayne State University Law School, graduating cum laude with his juris doctorate. Mr. Ihrie also received the Dean’s Scholar Full Tuition Scholarship all three years of law school.
