Jaffe Partner Elizabeth L. Luckenbach Assumes Role as President of the Oakland County Bar Foundation

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., – July 25, 2012 – Elizabeth L. Luckenbach, a partner at Southfield-based Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C., has been installed as president of the Oakland County Bar Foundation. Jaffe CEO Bill Sider made the announcement.
The Oakland County Bar Foundation is an organization that serves the citizens of Oakland County and the legal profession by funding or promoting: programs that foster the honor, integrity, welfare, or understanding of the law or the legal system or that educate the public about the role of lawyers in our society; programs that improve the accessibility and affordability of the legal services and the Adams Pratt Collection at the Oakland County Courthouse Library.
Ms. Luckenbach is a member of Jaffe’s estate planning, probate and litigation practice group, and specializes in probate litigation, special needs planning and elder law. A frequent speaker and published author in this practice area, Ms. Luckenbach also taught at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law as an adjunct professor.
Serving on several state bar associations for elder law and estate planning, Ms. Luckenbach is also active on OCBA’s membership committee and probate, estates and trust committee. Throughout her career she has received numerous accolades, including Michigan Super Lawyer awards in 2010 and 2011 and Michigan Lawyer’s Weekly’s “Leaders in the Law” in 2005. Ms. Luckenbach earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and her juris doctorate from DePaul University College of Law.
