DETROIT, January 6, 2010–S3 Entertainment Group (S3), the largest feature film and episodic television production company in Michigan, is holding its second open casting call for the new reality-based judicial television show Domestic Justice on Saturday, January 8, 2011, from 9 am to 2 pm.
The Domestic Justice casting call will be held at SI/S3 Studios located at 16630 Southfield Road in Allen Park, Michigan (Entrance 5). S3 and Stautzenberger Institute (SI) jointly operate the studios. Recurring roles being cast include the Bailiff, Court Clerk and Commentator.
Those who plan to attend should bring a valid driver’s license, headshot and film or acting resume to be considered. As an added service for those who want to attend but do not have a headshot, a professional photographer will be on-site to provide individuals with a new headshot for a nominal fee. Admissions Advisors representing the FIT Film Industry Training program will also be on-hand to answer questions and take enrollments.
Roger Kidd, Stautzenberger Institute’s vice president Business Development, said, “Our relationship with S3 continues to grow and is generating a lot of positive attention not only for Stautzenberger, but also for Allen Park and for Michigan. It all began with SI becoming the exclusive provider of the FIT Film Industry Training curriculum, continued with the relocation of S3 Studios (now SI/S3 Studios), and now these casting calls for the shows they are producing.”
“Domestic Justice presents an interesting and exciting way for willing participants to get their real life domestic issues resolved by a real judge on a unique reality-based judicial show, as well as represents one more positive sign that the Michigan Film Incentive is, in fact, working by creating jobs, putting Michigan residents to work and contributing to the Michigan’s economy,” said Jeff Spilman, managing partner of S3 and the show’s executive producer.
