LaVida Massage Announces New Master Franchisee in Florida

TAMPA, Fla., January 7, 2010 – LaVida Massage, a Commerce, Mich.-based massage and wellness center, has named Doug Walker the company’s new master franchisee in northern and central Florida. LaVida Massage Founder John Hoose made the announcement.
As Master Franchisee, Walker will be responsible for building new LaVida operations specific to the Florida market. These duties include the recruitment of prospective franchisees, the research of potential locations and the overall growth and development initiatives in the region.
Prior to joining LaVida Massage, Walker served as a sales and marketing professional at Miller Brewing Company.
