Vice President, Emerging Talent Manager
Kim applies more than 20 years of multifaceted experience in public relations, marketing, and strategic communications to client programs, enhancing brand awareness and producing results.
The lead on Identity’s Detroit vertical, Kim has an intimate understanding of the region and the businesses and organizations that consider Southeast Michigan home. From nonprofits and professional service organizations to beloved consumer brands, Kim knows what it takes to craft media storylines and develop strategies that meet business goals. Additionally, she serves as the agency’s Emerging Talent Manager, shaping Identity’s immersive apprenticeship program to help young professionals channel their passions in PR and communications.
Prior to her work in communications agencies, Kim served as the vice president of marketing and communications for Hennessey Capital, a working capital provider for entrepreneurial businesses and as marketing manager at the Detroit Regional Chamber, which was then the largest chamber of commerce in the country with 23,000 members. She is a past president of PRSA Detroit, a graduate of Leadership Detroit Class XL and a former member of the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
A Michigan State graduate and avid Spartan fan, Kim is married to fellow Spartan Mike and proud mom to Griffin.
