Billy Couturier

Billy Couturier is an Apprentice at Identity, where he contributes to client initiatives through research, copywriting, and additional account support.

Billy is a recent graduate of Michigan State University, where he earned his B.A. in Public Relations with a minor in Business. During his time at MSU, he served as a Resident Assistant in Wonders Hall for three years, where he actively applied his public relations skills by organizing events to foster student engagement and build community. Billy was also a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America, where he competed in the 2024 Bateman Case Study Competition.

Before joining Identity, Billy gained hands-on experience as a Truck Communications Intern at Ford Motor Company. At Ford, he researched and developed compelling, untold stories and collaborated with journalists to pitch them. Billy also worked as a DEI Communications Intern for Michigan State’s Office for Institutional Diversity and Inclusion. In this role, he used his storytelling and social media skills to highlight inclusive campus stories.

In his free time, Billy enjoys spending time with his friends and partner, taking walks at sunset, and getting lost in a good romance novel.
