Thomas E. Coughlin to Lead Financial Services Practice Group at Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 5, 2013––Thomas E. Coughlin, a partner at Southfield, Mich.-based Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C, has been named the practice group coordinator for the Firm’s Financial Services group. Jaffe CEO Bill Sider made the announcement.

In addition to this new role, Mr. Coughlin is also on the Firm’s board of directors and previously served as the practice group coordinator for the insolvency & reorganization services group. Mr. Coughlin specializes his practice in secured transactions, commercial law and bankruptcy.

A recognized attorney, Mr. Coughlin has received four Super Lawyer awards, and most recently was honored as a DBusiness Top Lawyer in 2013. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Mr. Coughlin is also a cum laude and order of the coif graduate of Wayne State University Law School. While earning his juris doctorate, he served as the associate editor of the Wayne Law Review.
