Price Chopper Signs Lease for Expansion at Brywood Centre

KANSAS CITY, Mo., March 15, 2010 — Westchester, Ill.-based Tri-land Properties, Inc. announced today that Price Chopper, a New York-based supermarket chain, has renewed its lease and expanded its store at Brywood Centre in Kansas City, Mo. Tri-Land Vice President Hugh Robinson made the announcement.

“Price Chopper has been a great tenant, and we are thrilled they have chosen to renew their release and expand their Brywood Centre store,” said Robinson.

The Price Chopper lease renewal includes a 10,000-square-foot expansion, taking the store from 60,000-square-feet to 70,000-square-feet. The new store offers expanded deli, meat, produce and frozen departments; as well as, a state of the art bakery and fully expanded liquor department.

Construction to renovate the shopping center is schedule to begin in Spring 2010.
