Miss Michigan USA to Appear at the 9-11 Day of Remembrance Golf Outing

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., September 10, 2009 – Southfield, Mich.-based The iGroup, Michigan’s leading exclusive model and talent agency, today announced that Miss Michigan USA, Lindsey Tycholiz, will be a special guest at the 9-11 Day of Remembrance Golf Outing to benefit the Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund on Friday, September, 11, 2009. Tony DiMambro, lead talent agent for The iGroup, made the announcement.
The outing, which will be held at the Moose Ridge Golf Course located at 11801 Doane Road in South Lyon, Mich. at 8:30 a.m., will support The Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund. All proceeds and donations will directly benefit Michigan veterans who, after returning from service in Iraq and Afghanistan, find themselves in need of assistance, whether it is financial, medical or emotional support. The event will feature 18 holes of golf, free driving range access, a buffet dinner, gifts, raffles and prizes, including a hole in one contest that will win a trip for two to Hawaii and over $1,500 in golf equipment giveaways.
Miss Michigan USA, Lindsey Tycholiz, will kick off the event, teeing up as the honorary starter. “I am humbled to be a part of this incredibly honorable event on behalf of the Miss Michigan USA organization and The iGroup,” said Tycholiz. “I am looking forward to meeting all the wonderful people that come out to lend a hand to the heroes that have sacrificed so much for our freedom.”
Tycholiz grew up in Sterling Heights and graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor’s degree in music education and minors in theater and biology. During her reign as Miss Michigan USA, she has been actively supporting breast and ovarian cancer awareness, in addition to advocating initiatives that preserve and grow youth arts programs in the schools.
