Kraemer Design Group Hires Two New Architectural Designers

DETROIT, Sept. 03, 2014– Detroit-based Kraemer Design Group, PLC (KDG), a leading high-end architecture, interior design and creative firm, has hired two new architectural designers, Katherine Lanski and Ashley Goe. Kraemer Design Group, PLC Principal Bob Kraemer made the announcement.

Goe, a Detroit native, completed her Master of Architecture Degree from University of Michigan in 2012 after completing a study abroad program in Ghana, which inspired her to begin a mentorship program for underrepresented students interested in pursuing architecture. In her new role at sustainability conscious firm KDG, Goe will be able pursue her passion for socially responsible design throughout Detroit.

Lanski, also a University of Michigan alumna, started with KDG as a spring break intern in her senior year. During her internship, she had the opportunity to get involved in some of KDG’s most exciting adaptive reuse projects, including the David Whitney Building and 1212 Griswold, which she will now get to see through to completion as a full time architectural designer.

“In order to continue to deliver the caliber of design we have become known for, we need team members with passion for the distinctive work that we do, extensive technical expertise and training, and the ability to share a unique perspective that enhances our collective vision,” said Kraemer. “Ashley and Katie embody all of these traits and will play a major role in elevating our inspired outovation to the next level.”
