Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss Partner Elected to Electronic Transactions Association Board of Directors

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., January 22, 2013 –– Holli Targan, an attorney and partner at Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C, has been elected to a one year term as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Washington, D.C.-based Electronic Transactions Association (ETA). Her term began on Jan. 1. Jaffe CEO Bill Sider made the announcement.
The ETA is the international trade association serving the needs of companies offering payment transaction processing and related products and services, such as credit and debit card processing, mobile payments, gift cards, and electronic payment systems. It serves companies throughout the United States and internationally, providing governmental advocacy, education, and networking opportunities to its over 500 member companies.
Ms. Targan served as president of the ETA in 2010 and as a member of its Board of Directors for over 10 years. She concentrates her law practice on card processing, mobile payments, and electronic payments law. She is a frequent lecturer and has published dozens of articles on industry-related topics.
