Jack Wilson Joins Creative Breakthroughs, Inc. as Virtualization Practice Manager

 TROY, Mich., October 18, 2011 – Jack Wilson has joined Troy, Mich.-based Creative Breakthroughs, Inc. (CBI), an industry leader in IT advisory services, network security, integration and infrastructure management strategies, as the Virtualization Practice Manager. CBI President and CEO Steve Barone made the announcement.

As the Virtualization Practice Manager, Wilson is responsible for assisting clients in need of a change agent to help provide and execute strategic virtualization, cloud computing and innovative techniques within their organizations. With more than 30 years of IT and consulting experience, Wilson has supplied many companies with a comprehensive virtualization strategy and streamlining of their overall IT structure, improving business functionality and flexibility. According to Gartner Executive Programs, cloud services and virtualization were selected by CIOs as the top two technology trends for 2011.

“Jack’s expertise surrounding virtualization is unmatched in the industry and will prove to be an asset to our company and its growing portfolio of clients,” said Barone. “The need for virtualization services is growing among many organizations, making the need for skilled leaders and professionals fluent in this concentration more important than ever to our company.”

Prior to joining CBI, Wilson served as the principal of his own company, Virtual Savant, where he consulted companies on the technical and cultural changes required to transform businesses. Previously, he was the Enterprise Architect with Farmington Hills, Michigan-based Amerisure Insurance, where he was responsible for managing the company’s infrastructure while implementing a virtualization and private cloud strategy. Wilson was recognized with a 2009 InfoWorld best CTO Award, awarded to the top 25 Chief Technology Officers in the US.

A current resident of Clarkston, Mich., Wilson received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Detroit.
