TROY, Mich., November 8, 2012 – Troy, Mich.-based Creative Breakthroughs, Inc. (CBI), an industry leader in IT advisory services, network security, integration and infrastructure management strategies, was recently selected as one of the 2012 Cool Places to Work in Michigan by Crain’s Detroit Business and Best Companies Group. CBI President and CEO Steve Barone made the announcement.
“CBI places a heavy focus on creating and sustaining an energetic, collaborative corporate culture,” said Barone. “It is an incredible honor to be recognized with this award and it’s a testament to the great employees that make up the CBI team.”
This annual survey, presented by Crain’s, recognizes Michigan’s best employers through an extensive two-step process. The first step is an employer questionnaire that captures important information like company policies, practices, demographics and employer benefits. The second survey is sent to employees to fill out anonymously. This portion consists of approximately 72 statements that employees respond to on a five-point agreement scale. The survey also includes two open-ended questions and seven demographic questions. Results are analyzed and categorized according to eight core focus areas, including leadership and planning, corporate culture and communications, work environment, role satisfaction and more.
Winners were featured in the Nov. 5 issue of Crain’s Detroit Business and will be highlighted at a celebratory ceremony in December at Emagine Theatre in Royal Oak, Mich.
