Corrigan Air & Sea Cargo Systems Announces Expansion of Romulus Branch

Construction underway for the 18,400-square-foot addition

 ROMULUS, Mich., October 23, 2013 — Corrigan Air & Sea Cargo Systems, a division of Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Corrigan Moving Systems, a full-service relocation company dedicated to elevating the moving experience for families and businesses, broke ground today on the 18,400-square-foot expansion of its Romulus, Mich., branch. Corrigan Air & Sea Vice President and General Manager Richard Nagrocki made the announcement.

Specializing in international logistics and project cargo for an estimated 200 customers globally, Corrigan Air & Sea’s expansion plans include the addition of a drive-through crane bay. The crane bay will be equipped with a top-of-the-line, 80-ton overhead crane to assist in the loading and unloading of heavy machinery and equipment. Additionally, Corrigan Air & Sea arranges shipments between various countries and continents on a daily basis.

“Each project has its own unique set of logistical complexities, and as a trusted transportation partner, our focus is on delivering high-quality service and craftsmanship to our customers, ensuring their high-end equipment that is vital to their operations arrive at the destination safely,” Nagrocki said. “The addition of the crane bay will effectively increase Corrigan Air & Sea’s efficiency and capacity to take on larger scale projects without sacrificing quality.”

Located at 6170 Middlebelt Road in Romulus, completion of the new expansion is slated for April 2014.
