First Hospitality Group Assumes Management of the Chicago South Loop Hotel

CHICAGO, July, 16 2009 — First Hospitality Group, Inc. (FHG), announced that it will assume management of the Chicago South Loop Hotel in downtown Chicago, Ill. First Hospitality Group President and COO Robert Habeeb made the announcement.

First Hospitality’s addition of the Chicago South Loop Hotel comes at a pivotal time for the establishment. The hotel was developed by Chicago South Loop Hotel, LLC in 2008, and has since aimed to become a landmark in Chicago hospitality. With over 50 years of hotel management experience, the hotel ownership recently recognized the independent hotel’s limitations, and named First Hospitality Group the ideal candidate for unlocking the untapped value of the property. Since FHG took over the management of the hotel, there has already been a four percent increase in occupancy.

Located at 2600 South State Street in the South Loop area of downtown Chicago, the Chicago South Loop Hotel is a local gem, ideal for both business travelers and tourists alike.
