Benjamin Staskiewicz Named Partner at Hunt Leibert Jacobson, P.C.

HARTFORD, Conn., April 18, 2013–– Benjamin T. Staskiewicz, has been named a partner in the Contested Foreclosure Department at Hartford, Conn.-based Hunt Leibert Jacobson, P.C. Firm Partner Richard M. Leibert made the announcement.
Mr. Staskiewicz focuses his practice on representing financial institutions and loan servicers in the areas of foreclosure and bankruptcy litigation. Since joining Hunt Leibert in 2006, he has authored numerous articles regarding various foreclosure topics.
Mr. Staskiewicz completed his undergraduate degree at Central Connecticut State University, and earned his juris doctorate at the Quinnipiac College of Law. A member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the American Bar Association, he is licensed to practice in state and federal courts in Connecticut.
Prior to joining Hunt Leibert, Mr. Staskiewicz worked for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee handling general bankruptcy matters as well as trustee litigation. He also has experience working with a litigation firm that handled insurance subrogation and construction litigation.
