Starfish Family Services Selected as Finalist in AIREA/Kimball® Exteme Office Makeover Contest

INKSTER, Mich., April 1, 2010 — Inkster, Mich.-based Starfish Family Services (Starfish), a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating brighter futures for the children of at-risk families in metropolitan Detroit, was chosen as a finalist in the AIREA/Kimball® Extreme Office Makeover Contest. Starfish Chief Executive Officer Ann Kalass made the announcement.
“It is an honor to have been selected as a finalist in the AIREA/Kimball® contest,” said Kalass. “This is a unique opportunity and we look forward to involving the community in local nonprofit activity.”
The office space makeover contest is co-sponsored by AIREA, a leading furnishing and design dealer in Farmington Hills, Mich., and Kimball® Office, a business unit of Kimball® International. The award gives one deserving local nonprofit organization the opportunity to win an office makeover.
The winner will be determined through online voting, which will take place from April 5th through the 23rd. Voting is open to the public and the winner will be announced on May 6th at the AIREA Showroom during an afternoon reception for industry leaders and community members.
