BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., August 11, 2009 — Alan Ackerman, managing partner of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based Ackerman Ackerman & Dynkowski, and Darius Dynkowski, partner with the firm, have been recognized as two of the best eminent domain attorneys in the country by Chambers USA.

Mr. Ackerman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University in 1968 and his Masters degree from Michigan State University in 1971. Ackerman received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1972. A published author and frequent speaker, Mr. Ackerman is the past Chair of the Michigan Real Property Section Condemnation Law Committee, American Bar Association Real Property Section Condemnation Committee. He has been an adjunct professor teaching eminent domain law at the University of Detroit Law School since 1983, and now serves as an adjunct professor at Michigan State University College of Law.

Mr. Dynkowski is a 1993 graduate of Wayne State University, and he received his Juris Doctor degree from the Detroit College of Law in 1996. A frequently published author, he serves as the Co-Chair of the American Bar Association Condemnation Law Committee and the Chairman of the American Bar Association Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law Committee. Mr. Dynkowski also sits on the Michigan State Board of Real Estate Appraisers. He has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Detroit Law School since 2002 and at Michigan State University College of Law since 2009.
