As an apprentice with Identity, Jozlynn Blankenbaker contributes to a variety of client initiatives, including social media strategy, research, copywriting and campaign development.
Jozlynn is a graduate of Wayne State University, where she earned her B.A. in public relations. During her time at Wayne State, she served as vice president of programming for Delta Zeta Sorority, where she planned and executed events for the college community. She was also an active member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), participating in workshops and events that enhanced her expertise in industry-specific public relations strategies.
Her professional experience includes a corporate communications internship with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, where she worked alongside the brand journalism, public relations and social media teams to craft compelling stories for their website and social media. She also supported podcast development by writing talking points and brainstorming creative ideas. Additionally, Jozlynn has experience as a social media manager, successfully managing company accounts and producing content that aligned with brand goals and resonated with target audiences.
Outside of work, Jozlynn is passionate about practicing hot yoga and exploring her favorite city, Detroit!
