Identity Clients Stand Out at ICSC RECon

ICSC RECon is the commercial real estate industry’s most prestigious event, drawing more than 36,000 professionals. How do you score media meetings…and make the most of them?

Our Approach

As a result of our longstanding focus on commercial real estate public relations, we have an extensive client portfolio in the space. Our clients look to us to maximize their visibility before, during and after this critical industry event.

Our preparations began in early 2016, at which time we developed article ideas and connected with editors from Shopping Centers Today, Shopping Center Business, Chain Store Age, National Real Estate Investor and Commercial Property Executive to place high-profile articles in issues leading up to the May event.

We then worked closely with our clients and media contacts to align schedules during the conference. We successfully secured blocks of time from five national media outlets, and carved them up into 30-minute segments to ensure as many Identity clients as possible were able to benefit from this rare and valuable face time.

Once interviews we’re secured, we developed topic ideas and talking points for each of our clients, which guaranteed that the editors were getting useful content that would translate into future media opportunities. And that they did.

Following our ICSC media meetings, Identity secured more than 20 media opportunities as a direct result of the conversations that took place at ICSC RECon, fueling outstanding visibility, credibility and thought leadership for our commercial real estate client base long after the conference.
