Creating an Experience for Fabian Sklar & King’s 30th Anniversary


Identity efforts lead to milestone celebration

Our Approach

Fabian, Sklar & King, P.C. celebrated its 30th anniversary in October 2016. To celebrate their incredible milestone and three decades of successfully litigating property damage claims and securing jury verdicts and settlements for clients, the firm sought to host an extravagant cocktail party for members of the firm, colleagues and friends. Fabian, Sklar & King P.C. brought in Identity to assist in organizing the event from start to finish.

At the request of the firm, Identity secured The Capital Grille in Troy, Michigan, for the location of the party and worked closely with the restaurant to ensure the evening was a success. Leading up to the event, Identity designed event materials that had a fresh look representing the firm’s fire theme, including invitations and signage. Identity team members assembled the invitations and mailed them out to recipients as well. We also designed and ordered 200 branded coffee mugs that held M&Ms and miniature bottles of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey to give away to attendees as party favors, and secured a piano player for the evening’s entertainment. On the day of the celebration, the Identity team arrived to The Capital Grille early to ensure everything was in order, set out the party favors, and managed the event throughout the night to make sure it went flawlessly.

Through strategic media outreach, Identity secured a feature story with Michigan Lawyers Weekly ahead of the event, where we coordinated an interview with two shareholders of the firm, as well as organized a site visit for the reporter. The article ran front page in print and online just days before the party, creating significant visibility for the firm across the state and created a positive buzz with partygoers who had seen the article in the paper that week.
