Twitter featured on the Chicago Tribune masthead

Here’s a sign Twitter is taking off. In today’s masthead of the Chicago Tribune, the editors are referenced with their Twitter handles. This act just goes to show how the social media site is gaining popularity and continued recognition by newspapers and other media outlets alike. As a relatively new user of Twitter, I am now considering myself “hooked.”  As a lover of all-things-media-related, it is interesting and exciting to see how news outlets are leveraging this site. Today’s move by the Tribune is just the beginning.
