Video of the Week: Shel Holtz & the Wired Workforce

Shel Holtz, ABC, principal of Holtz Communication + Technology, led an IABC Detroit workshop on September 22 about the “wired workforce” and why employers shouldn’t block employees’ access to the Internet and social networks. Shel offered a slew of facts and statistics proving why it’s counterproductive to block employees from accessing the Internet and social networks.

Even though he talked for almost six hours straight and was participating on a panel that evening, Shel was kind enough to spend a few minutes giving us a scaled down version of what he tells employers who insist on blocking Internet access.
