Ernie’s 90…and he’s blogging

I caught a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan commercial yesterday with former Detroit Tiger’s broadcaster Ernie Harwell. I noticed the web address “walkytalk.com” at the bottom of the screen. It sparked my attention, so I’ve just checked it out. Interestlingly enough, Blue Cross has launched a blog — with 90-year-old Ernie Harwell blogging! (About walking!)

On the blog, Ernie shares what keeps him active and how walking can lead to a healthy lifestyle. Yet another fine example of the extreme power of blogs in today’s marketplace.
